Vic-Maui Welcomes False Creek Yacht Club's Paul McGarvey and his Radford 14m ELAN.

ELAN is a Radford 14m Pilothouse designed by Graham Radford of NZ and built by Reyse Marine (now in Canoe Cove) for Pieter Jongiel, formerly of Heather Civic Marina. She was commissioned in 2018 and sailed to Mexico in 2019. So, what’s a pilothouse doing in the Vic-Maui? With the Lahaina class, she will get a chance to do what she does best – cruise the blue waters of the Pacific. The “Person-in-charge” is Paul McGarvey from Calgary who has been a member of FCYC since 2009. Brian Kyle, a former VM participant (Powell River), Chris Maki (Bowen Island), Cristian Hinz and Drew Kondratowicz (Vancouver) and Tony Griffin (Calgary) make up the motley crue. A life-time experience for all, we aim to have some fun doing what we enjoy most.
