We're Going to Hawaii

Onshore followers paying close attention to the Race Tracker will have noticed that all of the times took a leap backward this morning. All times are now being displayed in Hawaiian Standard Time which is UTC-10 hours, a 3 hour difference from the west coast.
Race Committee is on its way to Maui today to join the family and friends of the boats and the local greeting parties from Lahaina in preparing for the arrival of fleet.

Vic-Maui Welcomes Outbreak
Outbreak is our 4th Lahaina Class entry.
Pat Fenton and his crew are excited and looking forward to the 2022 Vic-Maui aboard Outbreak. They raced together previously in the 2013 Van Isle 360 and in several Swiftsure races. However, this is the first Vic-Maui race for Outbreak and it’s crew. Pandemic permitting the plan is to book some sailing hours polishing skills and checking out the boat off Vancouver island in August this year. Team Outbreak is looking forward to the whole experience including the preparation work and training but especially a safe fun sail to Maui.
