Full Combat Sailing

It is not often you get pictures from the high seas in a long distance race. But Jason Rhodes on Valkyrie took this picture of Kinetic as the boats were beating up Juan de Fuca Strait. They are obviously close together and fighting a fierce battle to get out of Juan de Fuca first.

As the sun starts to set over the Pacific at 8:50 local time, Crossfire, Valkyrie, Kinetic V, and Westerly are all very close together and have just rounded Cape Flattery.
