Half Century of Vic-Maui:  1965 - 2016

Vic-Maui was first sailed in 1965 and has been sailed every two years since 1968.  During the 2016 Vic-Maui cycle, we will be celebrating a Half Century of Vic-Maui. 

The 2016 Vic-Maui poster features "Long Gone", the winner of the 1965 race, skippered by Vic-Maui's founder, the late Jim Innes.  The poster is available for download: click here for Vic-Maui poster. 

Vic-Maui at the Boat Shows

Vic-Maui presented in the seminar series at the Vancouver International Boat Show, and was featured at the boat show by sponsors including the Royal Vancouver Yacht Club, Navis Marine Insurance, North Sails, Pacific Yachting, and Westerly Yacht Sales. 

Vic-Maui presented in the seminar series at the Seattle Boat Show, and was featured at the boat show by sponsors including Greater Victoria Harbour Authority, Pacific Yachting, CSR Marine, North Sails, and Signature Yachts. 

At the boat shows, we met many people and swapped stories of Vic-Maui adventures, from long ago and up to the present.  The 2016 Vic-Maui poster was a hot item! 

Vic-Maui alumnus Eric Holden named Rolex Canada Sailor of the Year

Vic-Maui congratulates Eric Holden on being named Rolex Canada Sailor of the Year.  Eric is a Vic-Maui alumnus, Royal Vancouver Yacht Club member, and the winning skipper of the 2013 - 2014 Clipper Round the World Race.
